Tips for New Officials

  • Start with a basic kit: 2 jerseys, 2 - 1/4" stripes (one short sleeve and one long sleeve) with American flag on left chest
  • Get down markers, yellow flags, and game note cards
  • Invest in a quality whistle - Fox 40 or Acme Thunderer recommended
  • Get black pants with white stripe that are comfortable for running
  • Don't forget bean bags and down markers!
